Airman Leadership School is a 186 hour instructional program (The following lists core curriculum lessons and does not include the administrative and evaluation hours). It is conducted over 24 academic days.


Mission
Prepare Senior Airman for supervisory duties and foster a commitment to the profession of arms.

Objective
The objective is for each student to gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the noncommissioned officer leader.

Communication Skills
This area focuses on providing senior airmen with the knowledge to be more effective communicators in both written and spoken communication. Evaluation of student achievement of the instructional objectives is accomplished through the use of performance evaluations and objective phase tests.

Profession of Arms
This area provides instruction on subjects unique to being a military professional. It explores the role of enlisted professionals which include enlisted heritage, standards, Air Force history, and enlisted contributions to air power. This area also includes drill and ceremonies, discipline, customs and courtesies, and fitness.

Leadership
This area of the curriculum focuses on providing senior airmen with the necessary skills to operate as an enlisted supervisor.
